Meet Shaheerah Stephens

Advisory Board Member

Shaheerah Stephens is an author, minister, columnist, trainer, keynote speaker, and a graduate of Wayne State University, Mass Communications. She is ordained in ministry through Unity School of Christianity in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, and the founding Pastor of Transforming Love Community.

Shaheerah has served in the community as an educator and trainer in many prevention programs for youth. She has provided training for displaced women and men through many human service agencies locally and nationally. In 1998, she received an award for the “1998 List of the Most Influential Black Women in Metropolitan Detroit” in recognition of her contributions to the community. She also received the “Spirit of Detroit Award”. Shaheerah has numerous awards for her work in the community.   

Her track record is extensive with such clients as General Motors, McDonald’s Corp., City of Detroit, State of Michigan, State of Pennsylvania, Michigan State University, University of Michigan, Fort Knox Military Base, Children’s Center, Children’s Hospital, Southwest Hospital, Wayne State University, SHAR House, and many, many more. Her mission and passion is to create forums and venues that speak to each person’s ability to transform their lives. She believes this empowerment begins with the transformation of the mind. She travels the country teaching people that they have a purpose in life and once they understand who they really are and the principles that govern the universe, nobody and nothing can stop them.
